About this apartment rental
This unit overlooks the Capefear River, Riverwalk, and Battleship North Carolina Memorial. located on Front St above a popular bar and steps away from bustling restaurants, shops, nightlife, tours, and so much more! Recently renovated the unit is decorated with modern art, vintage Turkish rugs and comfortable furnishings with sleeping accommodations for six. Enjoy a night in lounging on our river view deck or take part in downtown nightlife which offers something for everyone!
The space
Recently remodeled, the unit has two bedrooms with one bedroom in the front of the unit and the other in back. The master bedroom has an attached bathroom. The second bathroom can be entered from the hallway or from the second bedroom.
For sleeping arrangements, in addition to a king size bed and double bed, there is a day bed in the master bedroom which is 30" x 69" and a larger second day bed in the living room which measures 34" x 80". (linens provided for all).
Important: condo is located over a bar that is open until 2am. Additionally you will be located in the entertainment district which is lively at times. If you are staying downtown to take advantage of the nightlife you will love this location. We have done our best to sound proof the condo and provide noice canceling machines in the bedrooms and earplugs. For people with sensitive hearing or who are bothered by background noice you may consider someplace more suitable. This is not an issue for most of our guests but we want to be upfront. We do not provide early check out, credits, or refunds due to music or noise which is part of our vibrant Historic Riverfront.

The communication was excellent and the property was very modern and clean. It is located right by the river walk and minutes from tons of restaurants, shops and boat tours.

There is a lot of really great things to say about this property, the communication with the host, the proximity to food, drinks and entertainment and the quality of the accommodations. I mean, honestly, I only have 1 non-positive comment about the unit — and that’s the noise. The unit is above 2 bars with loud music and between two venues with competing rooftop bars with live music. It’s loud. Yes, ear plugs are provided as are white noise machines, but if you want to sleep before 2:00am, you might struggle. The listing mentions none of this. That said, if you are planning to make noise, stay up, party, and sleep in — the unit and location is perfect!

Nice property. Only one parking space. Great location for partying and downtown shopping. Host was very helpful. The problem with this location is that it’s above the Barbary Coast bar and next door to a rooftop disco. IT’S LOUD. There is a reason that there are multiple ear plugs in each bedroom!Ear plugs reduce the noise some, but the bass beat vibrates through the place. Sitting on the front porch at night is so loud it’s hard to have a conversation. We made the best of it and enjoyed our stay, but ther should have been clear info on the noise level.
