Steps from the river in Thunderbolt, this cozy bungalow puts you about 10 minutes from Downtown Savannah and 20 to 25 minutes from Tybee Beach. Sleeps 6 across a king bedroom, a queen bedroom, and a living room sleeper sofa. Fast WiFi, a full kitchen, a screened porch, a fenced backyard with a fire pit, and dog friendly.
The Space:
A renovated single story bungalow with calming coastal decor.
The king bedroom and queen bedroom each have their own character, with soft coastal tones throughout. The living room has a big screen TV and a sleeper sofa for extra sleeping space. The kitchen is fully equipped for home cooked meals, with a dinette that seats four. A dining area seats six.
Outside, a screened porch and a fenced backyard with a fire pit give you room to relax, and the home sits an easy walk from Thunderbolt's restaurants and the river.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the house, the backyard, and the driveway. Up to two cars fit in the driveway and one more on the street.
The neighborhood is quiet and residential. Please keep noise down, and no parties or events without checking with us first.

The home is in Thunderbolt, a historic waterfront village with working marinas, about 10 minutes from Downtown Savannah and 20 to 25 minutes from Tybee Beach. Restaurants, a grocery store, and entertainment are nearby and walkable. A Publix is about 6 minutes away.
Getting Around:
A car or rideshare is the easiest way to get around between Downtown Savannah and Tybee Island, since the roads connecting them do not have sidewalks. Within Thunderbolt itself, the streets are walkable. The nearest urgent care is about 6 minutes away in Whitemarsh.
Other Things to Note:
Parking: up to two cars in the driveway and one on the street, no more than three vehicles total.
Pets: dog friendly only, one dog, with a pet fee of $50 per day.
Bug spray is recommended when spending time outdoors.

This house was so cozy! We stayed here with friends to go see the Savannah Bananas and it was such a convenient location--located just a short drive from Grayson Stadium, Historic Downtown Savannah, and everything we wanted to do! Plenty of space for all four adults and just a lovely place to stay. Would highly recommend staying at this property and would certainly stay here again!

Convenient location, not very far from the Thunderbolt Bridge. It’s a short walk to the water where you can sit on benches and watch the boats go in and out. The property is in a quiet and safe neighborhood. It’s minutes away from a convenience store and Tubby’s on Thunderbolt Restaurant.
The house itself has a private backyard and gated side yard which we took part in relaxing in both locations. Our favorite spot was the screened in back porch. This place was ideal for my husband and I and my mom. Beautifully decorated and equipped with most of what you’d need for a few days stay. We did order groceries via DoorDash from Food Lion with no issues as well.
