Welcome to The Blue Heron! This picture-perfect island getaway is just an 8-minute drive to beautiful Tybee Island(Beach) and 7.1 miles from charming Downtown Savannah! Newly renovated, this family/pet friendly home has everything you need to unwind island style or live it up on the town. Situated on a private corner lot in popular Marsh Creek, sprinkled with palm trees, lives oaks and Savannah's lovely Spanish moss, prepare to enter your very own Low Country Island Oasis!
The Experience
On the drive in you'll pass breath taking marsh views and Thunderbolt Marina. Once you arrive, you'll be greeted with ample parking in the large driveway, easy entry with your own front door key code, and a thoughtfully designed space filled with all new furnishings. You'll find smart TVs in every room with lightning fast WIFI and luxe, crisp white bedding fit for a 5 star experience.
Your Master Suite is artfully decorated and features a King size bed, newly renovated on-suite bathroom with shower, double vanity, and full walk-in closet. No need to argue over the bedrooms though, as your second guest bedroom is also equipped with a King size bed, beautifully crafted furnishings, and full bathroom access right next door! The third guest bedroom is furnished with fun double bunks and a beachy vibe! Need room to sleep two more? No worries! The cozy daybed room is ready for two additional guests equipped with a trundle. This room can also double as an office, for those who need a dedicated workspace.
Your grand living area boasts 16-foot ceilings, a 55” Smart TV, and a fully functional electric fireplace for those chilly coastal nights. Turn left and you’ll be greeted by the gorgeous, coastal dining area where no detail was left behind! Relax with your morning coffee on the bright and airy screened in porch, cook up a gourmet meal in the newly renovated, fully equipped kitchen with brand new appliances, and enjoy an evening cocktail and smores around the fire pit in the private, LARGE, fully fenced in backyard (perfect for those doggies!) Rainy day? No problem! The Blue Heron has the best Game Room on the island to turn that frown upside down. The house was clean and in a nice quiet location. Close to the beaches and shopping centers. The host(s) were very accommodating and had everything that a family would need for a weekend beach getaway. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us for the weekend.

Overall a great experience and would recommend. Had challenges with checkin (the door wouldn’t open and the managers didn’t return our call until the following morning), but once that was resolved, it was a great place to stay. Excellent location, clean, and my kids loved the game room! The game room is a plus!

The rooms were adequate for my family. The cleanness could be improved. We had to vaccum the areadue to all the dog hair.
