Staff were so helpful and sweet, unexpectedly shuttling us to the train station when we checked out (possibly they would have on the way there too, it was just that we walked from our previous accommodation. Dinner looked delicious, but note you need to book in advance (which we didn't and therefore missed out!) Not much English but that worked ok for us :) Big Onsen bath!

Possibly the beds could have been slighty more comfy, but totally fine for us with amazing proximity to the snow and slopes! You could probably pass a beer out the window to people on the lift (which we loved, but may feel a little invading of privacy for some people)!

Location is ski in ski out. Easy 10 min walk to all major restaurants. Facilities cover everything you need and the host are amazing.

Superb ski-in-out guest house and probably the best value for money you can find in Myoko. I truly felt like I was welcomed into a Japanese home. The owners are incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make my stay special. First, transportation: he picked me up at the train station quite late at night, and even gave a lift to a friend who was staying at a different hotel that didn’t provide shuttle services at that hour. He also took me to the rental shop the next day and dropped me off at the train station Second, he offered to return my skis for me, which was extremely helpful. Third, the dinner was amazing! Truly delicious, home-style Japanese food. The only thing to note is that this is a true Japanese guesthouse, so the bathroom facilities are shared and onsen-style. Also, the heating system runs on kerosene, but honestly, the heater was fantastic after a cold day of skiing. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!
