4-Bed Cottage Sleeps 8 Walk to Thames Garden

We loved the size of the rooms, and the fact that the cottage was hidden from the main road. Also having parking next to the cottage was extremely helpful. And the extra cost for this was well worth the money for ease and security. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary equipment if we had decided to cook. The beds were very comfortable. I also liked having a dining table so we could all eat together. The washing line and having a washing machine was great as we now don't have to go home with dirty washing. More of a bonus for me than the others. Also having the use of Amazon Prime on the TV meant we could watch a movie in the evening, or keep the kids entertained with YouTube.

The bathroom door didn't shut, but we went with the rule of if the light is on it means someone is in there. The cigarette butt's on the floor in the garden were a bit of an eyesore but it didn't affect our stay. The leaking shower into the hallway was a major concern for us so we stopped using it and washed from the sink. As we didn't want to cause anymore damage. I did notify the owner and they assured us that they were aware and it does that each time the water exits the bath.

great location and had everything we needed . easy check in and very spacious.

the carpet was old and really dirty(needs a really good hoover) the shower doesn’t drain and it leaks onto the ground floor , there is mould and cobwebs everywhere. The mattresses are uncomfortable due to them having 2 stacked on top of each other. i think for the money it’s passable as of the great location but it really needs a deep clean and some TLC.
