Wonderful stay in a comfortable home with an unbeatable beachfront location.

We loved our stay at this beach house. My dad and I were on a father-daughter trip, and the place was the perfect size for us. We each had our own room and our own bathroom, which made everything so comfortable. We wanted to be right on the beach, and that’s exactly what we got. The ocean was just steps away, and we spent so much time on the patio soaking in the view. We also walked to the pier, shops, and nearby boardwalk. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals, and the whole home felt clean, simple and well cared for. It had all the basics without any clutter, which made it easy to relax. This was exactly the peaceful, beachside spot we were hoping for. Also, the management team was easy to communicate with. Overall, our stay was truly wonderful.

It was clear that some renovations had been done, especially in the bathrooms and kitchen, but the overall feel of the home didn’t come across as updated as advertised. The two bedrooms also varied in quality. One felt more comfortable with its attached bathroom, while the second was very simple and had a hallway bathroom. The patio furniture could use some attention as well. The cushions were worn and thin. We know outdoor furniture endures a lot between the weather and frequent rentals, but slightly nicer cushions would make the patio much more inviting. Because the house sits right next to 47th Street, there is a steady stream of people who stop in the small inlet beside the home to look out at the ocean. It makes sense given the view, but it does impact privacy. Whether we were on the patio or in the bedroom, we could often hear people talking or standing close by. None of these things were dealbreakers, but they are helpful details for future guests to know.
