The East West Budapest Boutique Hotel is a fantastic hotel with lovely rooms and very attentive staff. Due to its set up it is not a traditional 24 hour hotel with bar, concierge and reception staff. It has wonderfully themed rooms which are very well appointed and great value for money. I guess I would describe it more like an aparthotel with rooms. They can offer breakfast although we didn't try it because we wanted to explore Budapest.
I would definitely return to this hotel because of its less busy and laid back nature.
Its location is within 5 minutes walk of a metro station and shops, bars, restaurants etc so it is well placed but you do need to jump on public transport to get to the main tourist areas but you know this already if you do your research.
This hotel is well recommended if you understand what services are provided.
