Bukchon Binkwan by Rakkojae

Very authentic place to stay. I loved it! Wonderful traditional breakfast!

I knew I was going to be sleeping in a traditional bed, with mattress on the floor, but next time I think I would opt for a bed. It's a little harder to get off the floor sometimes! Make sure you understand the walking directions from the main street before you head up the hill. If the staff doesn't answer the phone, and you are a bit lost, it can be hard to find.

We stayed here for three nights as the final stay of our honeymoon. We loved it! The traditional hanok style hotel is beautiful: you feel like you step back into history, while at the same time you're so close to the city hustle and bustle. Plus, the inside of the hotel room had all the modern facilities you could want (modern toilet, mini fridge, safe, airconditioning). The staff was so kind and went above and beyond - they gifted us a Korean herbal gin for our honeymoon, helped us book a taxi for the airport on our last day, and their hotel chef even offered to send me the recipe of a vegan dish I liked with breakfast! Also, staying here gives you a huge advantage if you want to go to Buckchon village: it's closed to visitors before 10AM and 5PM. Because you're staying in a hotel in the village, you have exclusive access to the streets in the mornings and evenings. This made for some beautiful pictures! Highly recommend staying here.

北村に中にあり、韓屋の雰囲気がとても良かった!! 静かなロケーションで景色もよく設備も不備なく快適だった! 床暖房がソウルの寒い冬に適していて不自由なかった。 最寄り駅やバス停やコンビニも近くて便利!! 朝ごはんは手作り感があり、とても美味しかった!!!

部屋にテレビがない、音楽プレーヤーがない、 レクリエーションがないので部屋に帰ってもすることがなく ちょっと寂しかった。 そういう面でちょっと割高感があった。
