We loved Shin and his wife Lei hospitality Staying in a traditional hanok and experiencing traditional South Korean breakfasts We enjoyed learning about South Korea history Shin took us to the Palace which is close by where we saw changing of the guards which was epic and a must see. When I was ill Shin went out of his way to the pharmacy to get some medication Shin was always trying to his best to help us and make our stay one to remember We loved our 6 nights at the accommodation and I will return again one day! We exchanged numbers and will stay in touch. I cant recommend this accommodation enough, especially if you want to experience real Korean Food, Hospitality and History.

No complaints … just a bit of a hassle to use a bathroom across the hall, & hot & stuffy in the main part of the house.

We loved our stay at Seochon Guesthouse ! It was so much more than a stay in a traditional hanok but a truly privileged experience thanks to Shin and Li who are the most welcoming and attentive hosts. Staying here will allowed us a glimpse into Korean culture and traditions, all the local foodie recommendations that you can dream of + you’re in an incredible part of town, sophisticated but characterful and central.
