The bed was comfy, the bath was lovely and the apartment was easy to find.

Because you’re right next to a Tesco car park, which is the meeting location of lots of local youths and their cars, it was noisy until late at night.

The apartment at The Mail Rooms was fantastic, beautifully finished, we would highly recommend staying there, location is handy to travel around the north West and is very close to all amenities, can't wait to visit again

Location was suitable for our trip. Facility was quirky in a good way. If not for the disappointments, we would have been very happy.

1. Booking.com did not send the check in message until 1/2 day AFTER we arrived. Had to call host to get the lock box codes. 2. Booked the ground floor apartment due to mobility issues. Arrived to find that apartment was on first floor. Probably a blessing in disguise as random people loitered around the building at times, making the ground floor apartment unsettling. 3. Washer in unit did not work. would not fill with water. No operating manual. Host said he would send plumber around to address issue and confirm back to me. No plumber arrived; no confirmation or advice that no one would be around to look fix it. 4. Beds are lumpy and uncomfortable. Floors were not swept. Shower easily leaked onto bathroom floor. 5. Instructions says to place trash in public bin next to recycle bins. There is no trash bins at that location. 6. 1st floor unit has windows that only open on one side of building. No opportunity for cross flow or breeze.
