Don't book - no hot water in the apartment!
Only the location.
No one contacted us before arrival with check-in instructions—we had to message them first. Communication was difficult, as the owner or the agency only spoke Italian, so I had to use Google Translate to understand and be understood. When we arrived, there was no hot water, and despite messaging immediately, we were ignored. There were also no instructions in the apartment, including the Wi-Fi password, which I received only the next day. When I asked again about the hot water, I finally got a message the next day saying the boiler was broken. The following day, someone rang the door—it was a technician sent to fix the air conditioner, although we had no issues with it. I let him in, and while he was cleaning the AC, I asked about the boiler. He told me it was a known issue and that it needed to be replaced - but the owner still didn't replace it, which made it clear the owner/agency knew there was no hot water before renting out the place. For 3 days we and the kids had to shower with ice cold water. The apartment also has issues with electricity. AC, dishwasher can't run at the same time. The moment they do, the safety switches will pop out and cut the electricity. One of the beds in the bedroom was missing several wooden slats underneath, so when I lay down, the mattress sank through the frame. It was quite uncomfortable and definitely needs to be fixed. I was promised a partial refund because of this issues, but I never received anything.
