The Culinary Stay and Taste

Hôtel très bien situé pas très loin du marché central. Chambre très bien, et surtout un incroyable petit-déjeuner! Je recommande à 100%.

De gastvrijheid van Michael is meer dan je mag verwachten. We werden hartelijk ontvangen, kregen tips voor de stad en konden altijd terecht met vragen. Ontbijt was super en wanneer we vroeg een tour hadden stond er een ontbijtpakketje klaar. Avondeten samen met de andere gasten is ook zeker een aanrader. De locatie is rustig gelegen op loopafstand van het centrum. Na lange dagen en tours voelde het als thuiskomen wanneer we terugkwamen. Ook toen we Salkantay liepen mochten we ons bagage achterlaten. Al met al een superverblijf hier in Cusco!

Helemaal niets

Visited with my dad and the property felt like home away from home. It was cute and cozy. The food was incredible. Very social at the big dining table for both breakfast and dinner. Got help booking tours and with luggage storage ahead of our trip to Machu Picchu. We were very cold and got a heater for the rooms. Very nice and would stay again!

The hot water in the shower is a bit of a game of balancing the water pressure otherwise it'll run cold.

Michael, the host, is very friendly and welcoming - he truly makes the place feel like a home away from home. The room is clean and well maintained. The bathroom was clean, spacious and has lots of shelves / storage facilities for organising your belongings. I only stayed for two nights and only had the chance to try the breakfast once - it was delicious and cooked to perfection! There is also an option to have a home cooked dinner for a small fee - unfortunately, I didn't have the chance to try this out! I also used the laundry service - cleaned and returned on the same day, later in the evening as I asked my clothes to be air dried rather than put in the dryer. Overall, this is a great place to stay - I wish I had stayed longer and I will certainly return if I visit Cusco again in the future!

The building doesn't have a lift - so carrying luggage up and down multiple flights of stairs can be a hassle. Michael was really nice and carried my suitcases up on check-in. Overall, it wasn't a major issue for me but something for other less abled travellers to bear in mind if they struggle with carrying luggage up and down stairs by themselves.
