The house was spotlessly clean. It has a modern, fresh style which made it feel homely. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. Good water pressure in the showers and plenty of hot water. The kitchen is well equipped and well lit with a big table and plenty of chairs. The property felt safe and secure.

In the spirit of useful feedback, here are some comments/observations: The access to the house is from the back (leading into the lower floor) which is a rather unkempt, muddy and scruffy lane. It is also unlit which made coming back in the evenings quite tricky. There isn't an outside light either. Whilst there is access to the main road through the front door, there is no key so you can't use it for coming and going. It was manageable but otherwise at odds with the general standard of the property. One of the bottom bed sheets had a hole, a stain and some dirt marks on it. Very disappointed by that! We would have found some more hooks or shelves in the bathrooms to put stuff on practical and useful. There was no towel rail in the family bathroom and nowhere to dry the towels. The hoover (stored in the kitchen) was completely full and ineffective due to a build up of stuff which prevented the roller brush from working. The ensuite bathroom light is too weak. The bathroom felt like a dark cupboard. (even though it was clean and had a great shower).
