Overall, this is a spacious and comfortable apartment. It is large, with two proper rooms, nicely decorated, and feels welcoming. The kitchen is fully equipped, which made cooking easy and convenient. I also appreciated the responsive and helpful management staff.

The main issue was the heating. It did not work during the night, which is when it was coldest. Although management arranged for someone to fix it, the problem persisted. Later, I learned from a local friend, that this may be due to a centralized heating system, which is common in older buildings in Zurich and is often turned off at night to save energy & apparently in most of Europe, cooler sleeping temperatures are considered healthier. So if you’re from a tropical or warmer country, this can be very uncomfortable. Just sleep with lots of layers on or maybe request for extra bedding. Another downside was the very strict checkout policy. Even a one-hour extension was not allowed without an additional charge, which felt inflexible.
