Siesta Luxury Apartment Heraklion TH

Excellent location. Great TV, Netflix was good! Easy to find.

The front door was a big issue. Firstly, key was difficult to engage the lock and the required position seemed to vary from half to fully in. I was locked out twice for some 10 minutes trying to open the door Far worse was the sharp metal plate around the lock and that the door was stiff and required force to push it open. This resulted in both of us badly cutting our fingers. The technique is to get the key to engage with left hand, then push door with right hand on handle, swiftly withdrawing left hand from key to avoid cutting fingers. The kitchen had inadequate electric sockets, only one. We had to unplug the fridge to boil water. More sockets or a multi-socket extension lead is required.
