Welcome to stunning Northern Michigan! Whether it's your first visit or a cherished tradition, Walloon Lake offers endless adventure and unforgettable memories. Our cozy cottage sleeps 15 and sits just across from the lake with easy access. Enjoy spacious indoor and outdoor living year-round—from summer lake days to winter ski trips at nearby Boyne Mountain. The perfect getaway starts here!
About the space
We designed and decorated this cottage with your family’s comfort and connection in mind — a perfect blend of cozy charm and thoughtful spaces. Whether you're gathering in the spacious living room, enjoying coffee by the fireplace, or finding a quiet moment on the porch swing, there’s a place for everyone.
Step into a welcoming main floor with a large sectional, sleeper sofa, fireplace, and big-screen TV — all flowing into a fully stocked open kitchen with a Keurig coffee bar. The dining area features two tables seating 10. A bedroom with a double bed and full bathroom complete the level. Slide open the back doors to a covered deck, patio with grill and picnic table, and a fully fenced yard with firepit, games, and water gear including kayaks and paddle boards.
Upstairs is full of custom-built fun and comfort. The front suite has a King bed, bunks with privacy curtains, daybed, private bath, and balcony. Two more bedrooms — one with a King and private deck access, the other a kids’ dream room with bunks and tech touches — share a full bath and reading nook.
Whole cottage
Lake Access Point across the road is featured in the pictures. There are steps down to the water and we do not have a dock. The docks on either side are private property and should be avoided please.
The access is best for launching our kayaks/paddle boards and swimming. For a better sandy beach area I recommend the short walk to the public beach (see my labeled satellite view picture).
If you have a boat the public boat launch is also pointed out in the satellite view picture.

Lots of space and beautiful. Appreciate the labeling of the lights. Loved the huge kitchen, perfect for cooking with a large family. Beautiful covered porch area allowed us to enjoy even if it was raining.
