About this cottage rental
A cozy three bedroom, 1.5 bath cottage nestled in the heart of Walloon Lake Village. Your rental includes the entire upper level of the home with its own private entrance. Owner resides in the lower level.
Perched on the corner of an oversized lot & surrounded by trees, this cottage boasts close proximity to all that charming Walloon has to offer. Walk two houses down to the water and take in a breathtaking sunset on Lake Walloon.
Your rental space includes: a comfortable living room/dining room space, front sitting porch, a long galley style kitchen, a cozy full bath, a petite half bath located off of one of the bedrooms, use of a large deck overlooking the backyard, and a large yard space.
The village is a 5 minute walk, and offers great eats/drinks at the Barrelback, a general store for all your essentials, a public green space, the public beach known as “the foot,” antiques, coffee, ice cream, a playground, riverside trail, a florist, and more.
A 10 minute drive south will take you to quaint Boyne City. A 15 minute drive north will take you to bustling Petoskey, with its historic gaslight district. Petoskey State Park is a great place to hunt for Petoskey stones, relax on the beach, and hike. Bring a picnic and enjoy the beautiful park.
Skiing and other winter activities are not far away with Boyne Mountain 7 miles to the south and both The Highlands and Nubs Nob 14 miles to the north.
Challenge Mountain Lodge that provides adaptive recreation activities for the disabled is located 4 miles to the East.
