About this cottage rental
-New renovated flooring throughout cottage (as of 5/2023)
-5 min walk from our cottage to Walloon Lake Beach! (1 min drive)
-Public boat launch is a block away!
-10 min drive from Boyne Mountain Resort (ie: golf, skiing, indoor waterpark, restaurants, etc.).
-Hot Tub (seats 4 comfortably; can seat up to 6 people; Hot Tub is 1 year old)
-Large white picket fenced-in yard
-Weber Grill (new as of May 2022)
-Party Lights extending from main cottage to Bunk House (new as of summer 2022)
-Hammock. -Fire pit with chairs (1 bundle of firewood & s'mores kit provided per reservation)
-Outdoor dining table (seats 6 people)
-Mini-split in main cottage (ie Air Conditioning & Heat)
-2 Queen Bedrooms with small closets in main cottage (please note bedrooms are smaller in size and cannot accommodate large travel bags)
-1 Bunk House (ie detached structure/3rd Bedroom) w/ Twin over Queen Bunk Bed, love seat, smart TV, corn hole, fold up wagon, beach sand toys, dehumidifier, and portable Air Conditioning Unit. Bring your gaming system and HDMI cord to plug-in to our smart TV to play!

-Beach towels are provided to guests
-Sunroom with work desk/chair and comfortable seating area with coffee table

-Our cottage is easy access off of 131-N (well-maintained in winter) and a flat and level road off of 131-N leading up to our cottage with flat & level parking

*The hot tub is a great spot to relax after enjoying a day at the beach or skiing!
***For our Fall & Winter guests, THE BUNK HOUSE IS CLOSED TO GUESTS FROM 11/1-4/30, AND WE CAN ACCOMMODATE UP TO 6 GUESTS IN THE WINTER INSTEAD OF 7. THE MAIN COTTAGE SLEEPS 2 GUESTS FOR EACH OF THE BEDROOMS, AND THERE IS A PULLOUT QUEEN SLEEPER SOFA IN THE LIVING ROOM THAT CAN SLEEP 2 IF NEEDED. THE MOST COMFORTABLE ARRANGEMENT WILL BE 4 TOTAL GUESTS AS OUR COTTAGE IS 1000 TOTAL SQ FT.
THE BUNK HOUSE IS PRIMARILY SETUP FOR KIDS to have their own space, but it is not insulated. We keep a dehumidifier running in the bunk house when it is open to guests as well as a portable A/C unit. The bunk house is OPEN from 5/1-10/31 each year for guests.

The cottage was absolutely great. We traveled with our two dogs and the fenced in yard gave us peace of mind. The cottage has everything that you could think of - kayaks, hot tub, fire pit. We had a wonderful stay and Adam and Larissa were incredible hosts.

The cottage was absolutely perfect. Everything you could want or need seemed to be at your fingertips! The cottage is just a very short walk to the village and public beach. The bunkhouse was perfect for our three daughters to hang out! The owners have thought of everything!!!

This was the most charming cottage and a PERFECT location in Walloon Lake. We traveled with our 2 year old daughter and our dog and appreciated the fenced in yard and safe (though still very close) distance to the water for that reason. We were able to relax and dine outside as a family with peace of mind while they explored the yard, and the hosts thought of everything to make the atmosphere comfortable and fun. Beautiful beach, nice playground and coffee/restaurants all moments’ walk away, plus it was a short drive to Petoskey and Harbor Springs. 10/10 we had such a wonderful time.

Overall our stay in Walloon was great.
This house, while cute, was not worth the price gauge that we faced. There was a list about 10 deep of issues we faced in 3 short days. Pictures are definitely not as they seem. Outdoors are not well kept, jacuzzi and lights were dilapidated at best, we weren’t informed of a few non working things before arrival. While the owner did their best to accommodate during their busy weekend it still did not live up to the cost. Sadly, they were unwilling to compensate for any of the inconvenience we faced. This home should be valued as an extended stay hotel especially given the one tiny bathroom. If you have more than 2 kids good luck.
