Great location with fairy walks and a beach very close by. We spent most our time exploring Achill so it was very easy to get there and back again
Hard to fault any part of the trip, the 2nd wedding band music on our last night was a bit loud and kept the kids awake in the night but that is a small complaint

Lodge was spacious and well located. Host was quick to deliver missing items.
Very sparsely furnished. Very cheap fixtures and fittings. Shower cubicle door didn't shut properly. No hairdryer, no bath mats, no soap in the en suite. No instructions about bins or recycling. Bed sheets were pilled and felt rough. Had to hunt for towels, no towels provided in the master suite. Only one pillow provided per bed. It was not clear when I viewed the property on Booking.com that it would cost £60 for us to go for a swim - it suggested a swimming pool was included in the amenities for the lodge. Also when reviewing the lodges on Trip Advisor the guests appeared to have the hotel amenities included in the price? This was very misleading.
