Could maybe put a couple of occasional chairs in the lounge six adults on the sofa is a bit cramped and perhaps a stool in the main bedroom for use when doing hair and makeup (only an observation not a dislike)

My car was too big for the garage/car port but there was parking right outside for a small fee. For a small car the parking wouldn't be an issue at all.

Excellent base to explore Stamford

Well kept town house very near the centre of Stamford Close to shops , bars and restaurants. Excellent and well maintained house with pleasant decor ,like the large first floor kitchen and lounge

All good , like the property and would stay again -only issue the exit time at 10 am a bit tight when you have been socialising the night before .

Better than anticipated and we would like to come again.

It was an excellent location, a lovely view of the park and quiet, though very near the centre. The photos don’t do justice to the size and tastefulness of the accommodation.

There were no instructions for the oven. The smoke alarm went off when we used the toaster. A cafetière would have been welcome, also a sieve, but overall the kitchen was lovely with sufficient equipment. If there could have been some assistance ( other than paying for early check-in at £20 an hour, which is what was offered) so we could have left our bags there before and after check-in and check-out, we would have very much appreciated it, particularly as 10am is an early check-out time.

Comfy, central and beautiful views

The views, it was lovely watching people and the sunset over the meadows,. The owner's kindness and adaptability. The location just off the center of town.

A mix up delayed our check in so when I called for the checkin details because we hadn't had them the lovely owner and her family swooped in to clean the property. As they did so we sat in the lounge having tea. The owner was very apologetic and gave us a lovely breakfast at her nearby restaurant Gooch's to compensate. Highly recommended, delicious food, good service. Also recommend: her brother's restaurant The Slatted Door which we'd booked for dinner. Delicious, a lovely evening out. As others have noticed, a few waste paper bins would be welcome but were ultimately unnecessary. One of the bedrooms needs a bedside light and a few more bulbs in the ceiling light. The middle bedroom had no hanging space but I didn't really need any. (There was a very nice 'dressing table'). Perhaps because of the cleaning issue, there was handwash but no shower gel/bath soap etc. We just managed to get the car in the garage but had to leave the door open during our stay a) the car was longer than the garage and b) we didn't have instructions on closing it. The check in text did say to leave it open and there was no problem with doing so. Finally, the door frame on the loo was awaiting repair. It sounds like a lot but honestly it was warm and very comfortable and well located. Tv worked with catch up etc available. Beautiful views. Comfortable sofas Uncluttered. We had a lovely stay and the delicious breakfast was welcome compensation.

Modern bachelor accommodation in olde worlde town

Great size apartment in heart of Stamford with lovely views over park. Clean & well maintained.

Feels more like a modern bachelor pad than a character apartment intended to host up to 6 guests. The decor & layout is cold and contemporary, and the large TV in the open plan lounge area comes at the expense of adequate seating and coffee/side tables. Bedrooms 2 & 3 are single rooms with double beds. So 4 people max would be my recommendation to anyone considering staying here. But if, like me, you prefer your holiday accommodation to reflect the character & period of the place you are staying in then you might want to consider alternative options.

Beautiful property in the heart of Stamford. Renovated to a high standard. Clean property in a perfect location overlooking the Stamford meadows. WiFi and all other facilities were perfect and the house was a gem of a find in which I will definitely return too.

Excellent location, very smart and modern accommodation, good facilities, very comfortable. We would definitely recommend.

It’s not especially dog friendly but appreciate it has not allowed pets previously. We weren’t sure if we could use the patio outside just to let the dog out. The park right outside is great though.
