Lakeside cabin

A magical back-to-basics experience What a fantastic and truly special place! The cabin is beautifully located right by the lake, surrounded by nothing but peace, quiet and nature. Getting there was already a little adventure. Luckily, we spotted the “P” sign on a tree just in time — otherwise we might have attempted the very steep road down to the cabin! (Down would have been easy, up...would have been a dangerous challange) So keep your eyes open when you arrive. Unfortunately, it rained for two days during our stay, so we didn’t get to enjoy the lake and the outdoors as much as we would have liked. But somehow, that made us appreciate the cabin itself even more. With the rain outside, the fire burning and more than enough firewood provided, it was incredibly cosy and the evenings felt almost magical. There is no running water, so you really do go back to basics here. And that is exactly part of the charm. You slow down, put your phone away and realise that being offline for a while can actually feel surprisingly wonderful. Despite the rain, we absolutely loved our stay. A beautiful cabin, a stunning location, adorable view and a wonderful reminder that sometimes you don’t need much at all — just a fire, a roof over your head, eachother and nature all around you. A unique little escape we won’t easily forget!

A little tip to the host provide a jerrycan with water tap.

Stor stuga med många bäddar. Utmärkt läge vid spegelblank sjö. Grillplats. Lugnt och fridfullt.

Borde tydliggöras på Bookinginformationen att stugan saknar vatten men att tillgång till sjövatten finns. Står också att det skulle finnas micro men det hittade vi ingen.
