Oceans Edge 21 Zimbali Estate

The wifi was not the best, the apartment was not appealing, it was a bit decayed more specifically the pool and braai area. That requires refurbishment. Secondly the fridge ice coller falls out the moment you open the fridge, this is a clear indication that the appliance is not regularly checked. Lastly, agent communicated a fine to us but it was not accepted by any of the colleagues who stayed at the premise, the registration office did not have record of the fine our engagements with the property agent followed the estate appeals process and we are waiting for a formal response to take the matter further

The views

We struggled to find it and when we did our access cards didn’t work. We also had 3 vehicles as this is an 8 sleeper and we were coming from different locations, they did not allow our 3 rd to come to the complex even tho there was visitors parking

Food around the facilities are very nice, we definitely enjoyed.

The area is very complicated, we got lost many times . i think if we can have maps or directions or list of activities to do inside zimbali, that will be very helpful. Unlike asking strangers on the road to give us information.

The property is beautiful with lovely sea views. There's a daily cleaning service which came in handy.

When we arrived we realised the pool was dirty and requested it be cleaned. We stayed for 3 days and unfortunately it was never attended too. The host kept on apologising and sent people only after day 2 who did not clean it. The résponse time to queries is very poor. We had an issue with the gas stove which was reported in the evening and they only responded on the next day at roughly 3 pm. The carpets in the main lounge was so dirty that left over snacks and food was felt when walking barefoot!!! Some of the shelves were dirty. Very very poor!!
