I booked the Bell Nook as a birthday retreat for my girlfriend and we had the best experience! The hosts were very thoughtful, and left us a little birthday surprise. They were very communicative even before check-in, and helpful with any questions and to give recommendations of what to do in the area. The hot tub was heated up for our arrival and the hosts were very nice to heat it up the following day. The garden is lovely and spacious, and it feels very private and secluded. We even had a deer appear in the garden! But town is accessible just a 20 min walk away. It’s reachable by train (only 45 min from London) and a car is not needed, which was a big plus. We definitely recommend this stay to anyone looking for an escape from the city or just to relax in a peaceful place. We visited in the summer and are already talking about booking it again in the autumn!

I mentioned to the owners that our stay was a treat for my wife's 60th birthday. We arrived to a happy birthday banner & card from them. A lovely touch.
