Wir waren nach reichlich 2 Jahren wieder in der Oak End Lodge zu Gast. Wie bei unserem ersten Aufenthalt hat es uns sehr gut gefallen. Margaret und Neil sind überaus nette und zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Die Lodge hat zwei schöne helle Räume mit Blick ins Grüne und ist sehr komfortabel eingerichtet.

This place is very clean and comfortable, on a quiet street in a beautiful part of the UK. We especially enjoyed visiting Winston Churchill’s home Chartwell, which is a short drive away. Parking at Oak End Lodge was available in the driveway, and the hosts were friendly and helpful. The little apartment is upstairs over their garage. We would readily book there again.
Be aware that there is a steep climb up the stairs alongside the garage to get to the apartment. It was not a problem for us. Also, breakfast is not included, but there are enough kitchen facilities that you can prepare your own hot breakfast.
