Villa Iizuna highlands - 飯綱高原の山荘 -

Loved the accommodation.

The commute was quite challenging to get to but we knew this ahead of time.

Property was located in a very quiet estate surrounded by nature which felt very peaceful. The internal of the house exudes coziness, upon stepping in it already felt very lived in which make its very homely and comfortable. Space was abundant and we could do our morning stretches anywhere in the house before snowboarding.

Love that there’s a tub and a huge space to enjoy. We has most of our meals in the lodging as they provide all the cooking equipments and some condiments!

we chose this place because we wanted a quiet environment to just spend time as a family. Hal was the ultimate host who proactively did all he could to make our stay as comfortable as possible. He gave advice on groceries, driving to his property and even the weather report because we were hoping to have snow. He also made sure to clear the driveway as it had snowed the day before. The appliances provided was clean and easy to use (thank you for the coffee machine). I loved this property and we were able to make many snowy memories that I will hold dear for a very long time.

there really wasn't anything i didn't enjoy. the rooms were a little cold when we got there but that's cos we were there pretty late in the evening and the temps had dropped. once we turned on the room heaters, it was cosy and comfortable. the floor of the common area was also heated.
