A lovely Ryokan in a beautifully traditional part of Nagano amongst the shrines and wooden houses. It provides a typical Japanese bedroom with a private bathroom and superb public bath experience on the ground floor. Tasty breakfast and great service from staff. We only stayed one night and wished we could have stayed longer.
We liked everything. It was all good.

The location to the temple and shops was perfect. Walking distance to everything we wanted to see. The room was comfortable and air conditioning was great. The on-site onsen was a great way to cap off the day. Meals can be purchased on site, we didn't try any. We did use the laundry service and they did a great job. Staff was friendly and welcoming. We would stay here again.
The bathroom was a little tight.
