All go and no show
Communication with the host co (Affilux) was exceptionally good, the response time was outstanding, even on Saturday they were able to supply answers, these people are running a great company.
The property is in need of substantial maintenance, the integral fridge/freezer was broken, this had been replaced by a new unit plugged into an extension lead, the electric section of the AGA cooker did not work, this problem was notified by previous guests, moving to the back up kitchen whilst trying to provide dinner for our guests was NOT acceptable.

Great stay
The location of the property was great, lovely and quiet area and not too far from local shops and pubs. The house is beautiful, very spacious inside and the garden is big. The house was the perfect size for a group of 10. We all enjoyed playing table tennis, badminton and using the hot tub. The kitchen was equipped with enough cutlery and crockery for all guests. The house was really clean and beds were comfortable. Hosts were brilliant at getting back/ answering any queries in a timely manner such as the dishwasher situation. We had a great time and would definitely return.
Just a couple of things that would have made the stay better, the dishwashers weren't working, if this was communicated prior it would have saved some confusion. We couldn’t get both sides of the aga to work. There were a couple of chairs in the garden that were broken. Green trampoline was broken, it wasn’t obvious to begin with until one of the guests nearly fell through it, just needs removing so other guests don’t make the same mistake.
