Frangipani 107 by HamoRent on Hamilton Island

I’ve stayed at the frangipani a few times & we love the location looking over Catseye beach, large balconies, buggies included & room 107 I chose for the price this time & knowing I like the location & it looked like it had fairly new decor

Honest opinion- just needs a sound bar for the tv & we didn’t use oven/stove but we noticed the knobs were broken when we hung a tea towel up. Other than that a new updated buggy ! Mouldy seats so they gave us a towel for the buggy , & then the batteries blew up , almighty bang & then smoke , we thought it could catch on fire as we had witnesses around us that work on the island & were happy to help us . I’m just so glad my daughter was not sitting on passenger seat at the time as she had been. That was an unpleasant day from when the buggy blew up to contacting a certain lady from framgapani to help us but she only cared about the photos she wanted & getting our own way back, I was upset that she didn’t offer help & said photos really that’s all you care about!! I’m not touching a seat that was hot to take photos? Even the guys stayed away in case it caught fire. Dan the manager from Hamilton island hire came to help but realised it wasn’t his buggy. Buggies should be serviced every 3 months so I’m guessing this one was not or checked before handing over to us, first we were told there is no spare buggy & public holidays was an excuse from this lady.. I asked Dan if he had some to hire & he said yes incase I had to as we had dinner etc to get to that night, BUT we were lucky they rang with a spare buggy that the workers were using & they came with it straight away so I was thankful for that. These things happen I know “ but it was the no care factor & not having a buggy for the rest of the holiday would have been awful. Mary rang & apologised for the other lady “L” & was lovely to deal with. I don’t make a fuss just wanted to have a good holiday with my daughter as Hamilton island is a family favourite & the buggy’s honestly make it even more memorable.

Great location! We had an electric buggy included, which was so handy — perfect for four adults to explore the island with ease. The views from the living room, kitchen, and bedroom were stunning, and the extra-large balcony was such a bonus. The place had everything we needed to cook and plenty of creature comforts to make our stay relaxing. It was quiet yet had easy access to the main town, with beautiful wildlife all around and a walking trail just outside. The beach was only a few easy steps away. We loved our stay!
