Cute but could use some TLC.

The location was really nice and felt secluded. The hot-tub was fantastic and we did enjoy the porch swing not too far from it. All of the bedrooms were on the bottom floor which kept them cooler so that was also a bonus. Plenty of dishes to work with if you want to cook and having the washer/dryer was very convenient. Something else that I thought was pretty cool is from the front porch you can see the lil cable cars that tote people up and down the mountain.

For the most part the rental was clean. There were a few things that I feel could use some extra attention however. I found a pair of mens underwear under the bathroom counter in the bedroom that was all the way to the back and right. I threw them away, but honestly it annoyed me. Also, taking some time to sweep the porches and get rid of the massive amount of spider webs collected would be awesome. I realize that bugs happen in nature but the accumulation of webs and spiders wasn't just something that set in over night. It takes only a few moments to sweep away the webs and debris from leaves... which to me is a consideration that should not be overlooked when renting out a home. The upper level/porch does have some rather spongy feeling flooring so we did not spend much time up there either. It's definitely a dated porch that could use a little love. Also we did wash any of the dishes we used prior to use, because it was made clear that we should do so in the instructions. Sound advice, because some of the dishes were dirty. Not filthy mind you, but probably needed a soak before they were put away. You will also need to take all of your garbage down the very steep driveway. I'm fine cleaning up after myself - But I did feel like for a place that has a cleaning fee, some of these things listed above could be improved. This isn't to discourage people from coming and staying because at the end of the day I did find it to be an enjoyable stay. Oh, and maybe some sort of curtain that can hang on the very large window facing the house next door. I could see them easily... I assume they could also see me sitting on the couch upstairs.
