Prime location 1.7 miles to Ober Gatlinburg

This is a great house for a very relaxing mountain vacation! Just minutes from downtown Gatlinburg. The location is beautiful. You feel very secluded and it's so quiet. The king bed downstairs is so comfortable! I had the best sleep that entire week. Great water pressure and lots of hot water. We only used the downstairs areas, but the upstair bedrooms are very roomy. The pool table and video game machine were fun on a rainy afternoon. The balcony is a nice sunny place to sit and read a book. Yes we saw bears! But they do move along. We did find bear paw prints on our car door one morning. No food or wrappers inside. Thank you to the host for sharing this awesome place!

This home was fantastic. It’s quiet, incredibly secure, and very easy to get to. The location is perfect—close enough to town for quick trips, yet far enough away to feel peaceful and private. The property was spotless and well-equipped. We will definitely be back! Appreciate Walter's hospitality. Highly recommended!

Considering the price this place was to be expected. It’s kind of up to date and out of date at the same time. Really enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. Never saw the pool or information regarding it, but it was a little too chilly to enjoy a pool anyway. The drive up the mountain scared my wife, but it was really close to everything considering. I had to re-wash the dishes because they were dirty and they put away. Also left dirty dishes in the machine from the previous stay. The beds were comfortable and much appreciated but no TV in 1 of the 3 bedrooms. The living room couch bed was one the most uncomfortable pieces of furniture I’ve ever sat on. Also not really much seating for a family of five to watch a movie in the living area. Overall for the price not a total write off but a few improvements could’ve commanded more money.
