Neubau, schöne Einrichtung, gute Lage, große Wohnung
Bett war ungemütlich, Esstisch zu klein und Bar unbequem zum Sitzen, Wlan und Fernseher haben nicht wirklich funktioniert

Travel purpose was attending a seminar at the Asklepios Klinik in Bad Schwartau. The location was perfect within walking distance and with free parking on site.
The building is brand new and seems to be purpose built for short term rental with apartments throughout.
Apartment 5 on the ground floor where I stayed is elegant, spacious and modern.The bathroom has a window, a nice shower with rain shower and decent water pressure of the hot water.
Access is with a PIN code received through a booking.com message and the key is in a lock box beside the apt door. This may be very convenient for some travelers and most definitely the landlord - I found it very impersonal, and for technically challenged guests it is confusing, especially should they arrive in the dark. I find that meeting the owner at some stage or at least personal contact through messages or a call are what makes private rental special, and allows for questions up front.
The apartment is modern and sleek and seems to be new on the market as there were only three glasses, three wine glasses, four sets of cutlery and a small number of plates of various sizes. I was there for three nights and would have liked to use a fresh glass, fresh knife but there were no dish towels to hand wash and I did not want to use the dishwasher for such a small load. There were dish tabs and dish detergent, but no towels. I was also missing a broom as I carried sand into the apartment from walking to the clinic through the park. The flooring is very elegant and nice but I kept having to walk through grit because I did not want to use the small dustpan to clean on my hands and knees. Also there was only one roll of toilet paper, and as I was there for a seminar I had no time to go shopping.
Finally - and this was the point I found most disappointing - the beds were not comfortable. The mattress was thin and seemed slept on, the slats made a creaking noise every time I turned, the pillows were low quality polyester filled slumps that didn’t hold any shape and the sheets were from micro fiber (polyester) that were sticky and didn’t breathe.
Such a shame for such a nice apartment - at that price definitely something I would change for my guests.
The wifi password seems to be the original code for the router and is a complicated long combination of letters and digits that some guests might find troublesome, a short password may be handy.

Der Kontakt lief echt schnell und gut entgegen anderen Berichten.
Die Wohnung liegt gut und in einer ruhigen Sackgasse
Schön möbliert und dekoriert.
Vieles da wie Tee, einige Kaffekapseln, Spüli, Seife, Fön, Toilettenpapier, Küchenrolle... Leider Defizite
Wenn die nicht wären, wärs ziemlich perfekt.
Schade
Verdunkelung gibt es nicht.

Wir mussten immer abwaschen. Gut, dass ich Geschirrtuch mit hatte..... Spülen nicht nutzen können.

Keine Kuchengabeln, großes Messer oder Sägemesser
Besteck 4 x, tlw leicht rostig.
Kein WC-Papierhalter, keine Duschablage
Zu lange Gardinen am Bett, sehr schmal dort, oft verheddert u Stolpergefahr
Bett voll katastrophal
10 cm dünsten Matratze, zusammendrückbar auf 3 cm. Querrillen, die man leider unangenehm fühlte.
Bett knarzte beim Hinsetzen, Hinlegen, Umdrehen, Aufstehen derart laut, wie ich es nicht mal bei Treppen in mittelalterlichen Burgen erlebt hab. Schlafen ging nur mit Tabletten und stark eingeschränkt. Das war seehr krass!!!
Total schade die Kritikpunkte.
So viel Deko, alles toll dort. Geile Küche, aber nix drin.
Das Bett no go
Ansonsten gerne sofort wieder.. vielleicht andere Wohnung...??
Ändern und Bemerkung über Abstellung vom Vermieter wäre der richtige Weg.
