The lovingly preserved house exudes genuine Old Town charm and invites you to experience Lübeck in an authentic way. Cafés, restaurants, small shops, churches, and museums, as well as the Trave River, are all within easy walking distance. After an eventful day, the Ganghaus offers a cozy retreat with a special character.
The beaches and seaside resorts along the Baltic Sea coast, such as Timmendorfer Strand or Travemünde, are easily accessible by public transportation.

First floor
The first floor features a modern yet cozy, fully equipped kitchen with an integrated dining area. The kitchen offers everything you need for self-catering and invites you to relax while cooking and spending time there. Here you’ll find a small entryway area with a dresser and a coat rack. This floor is complemented by a bright shower room with a toilet, featuring modern and functional amenities.
1st Floor
The first floor features a cozy bedroom with a comfortable double bed, which can also be arranged as two separate single beds if needed. The room is furnished with a wardrobe, a small dresser, and two nightstands.
There is also a small sitting area with two armchairs, a table, and a TV—perfect for relaxing after an eventful day. A separate restroom is also available on this floor.
Converted Attic
A sturdy wooden ladder leads up to the converted attic, which is ideal as a small, cozy third sleeping area. It is furnished with a single bed, a side table, and a dresser. There is a Velux window with a blackout blind, as well as the heating boiler. ⚠️ Note: The attic is not suitable for small children (risk of falling). It is also not suitable for elderly people or those with limited mobility.



On-site costs: Notes and Conditions The Lübeck “Gänge” are residential spaces where a special sense of community is part of Lübeck’s identity: neighborliness, closeness, tranquility, and mutual consideration shape everyday life there. The alleys are narrow—windows and front doors are often just a few steps away from the path. Our Garbereiter Gang is a quiet and intimate place where not only people live their private lives, but also where friendly, loving dogs and cats call home. To ensure that everyone—both two-legged and four-legged residents—feels comfortable, we ask for consideration and respect for privacy. Please note: The converted attic is not suitable as a sleeping area for small children, elderly people, or people with limited mobility. The attic is open and therefore offers no protection from a lockable door. Final cleaning is included in the price, and we also provide bed linens, towels, and dish towels free of charge.
