Buffalo Guesthouse

Convenient location to Allen Street. Fun to meet other guests at Breakfast to share recommendations for area activities. CJ gave us a thorough and friendly and helpful tour upon check in and during our visit. Loved visiting Buffalo's Delaware Park, Burchfield Penny Museum, Niagara Falls State Park, Lockport locks and museum, Canalside, a sail on Lake Erie, and enjoying nearby Giacobbi's for an Italian dinner.

We knew what to expect-- that our room was small, but clean and quiet for a good night's sleep. I only wish there was access on both sides of the bed. Since the room is small and the bed is a comfortable size, it had to be up against the wall on one side.

After a long day of traveling and finding that the hotel I originally booked was disgusting, I was so happy to get the last room at The Buffalo Guest House. I was pleasantly surprised that the Guest House was like a quaint bed and breakfast. I loved the vintage floor tiles in the bathroom and showers. The tiles brought back memories of my childhood. The bed was so very comfortable. I had no trouble falling asleep. The owner is genial and thorough. My stay at the Buffalo Guest House was comfy and felt like a home away from home. My only regret is that I could not stay longer and did not have a chance to soak in the awesome hot tub. If you enjoy a simple, welcoming, and relaxing place to stay, you cannot go wrong with the Buffalo Guest House.

We loved the location - comfortable rooms and helpful and friendly owner and staff. Quiet neighborhood of beautiful homes, yet only twenty minute walk to downtown and many, many shops, restaurants, and bars within a five minute walk. Easy street parking. We also enjoyed the breakfast and guesthouse amenities.

Friendly staff especially the young lady who showed me to my room. The twin bed was super comfortable. There was a toilet in my room, but shower down the hall. Very close to concert venue, Town Ballroom. Kitchen available. Front porch for waiting inside for Uber. Security using door code to enter house so random people can’t come in.

The sink in the bathroom was exceptionally small which made even just brushing teeth difficult. Room was quite small for the price relative to other places I’ve stayed for the same or less. The street was a bit ghetto at night, with an aggressive homeless man walking down the street and approaching. I would feel unsafe if I had to park away from immediately in front and walk down the street. It can be a bit noisy with other guests walking up and down stairs and in the halls.
