Lovely, light filled apartment! The living area was bigger than I expected which was nice. Bedrooms were small but we found that to be most places in Norway. No room for luggage or anything extra in main bedroom but having the 2nd bedroom was great for us, but we were only 2 people. If you had a family you would have to put your cases in the living area. Great sized bathroom and was nice to have a washer and dryer! Reasonably well equipped kitchen. Good heating. Lovely views from all the windows out the back. Google maps had a bit of trouble with finding it but was easy to work out. Was nice to have dedicated parking space. Easy walk to town if you are physically able.

A few instructions would have been nice, as in how to adjust the heating. Some better pillows would have been nice.

Perfect location 1 - of Leknes, it's in the middle of what I wanted to discover (1 day toward Reine, though I preferred Moskenes, fewer people, and 1 day toward Svolvaer, 1 day for hiking), and 2 - of the apartment within Leknes (can walk to restaurants and a few stores). Also very very quiet, perfect for me as I don't sleep well. The apartment has 2 bedrooms, 1 with a Queen size bed, 1 with a single bed and 2 bunk beds. 1 bathroom, quite large, and the shower works well, with washer and dryer (I did not use). One large room kitchen/DR/LR, plenty of space to sit. Large fridge. DW (did not use). Microwave. Kettle, but no coffee machine. But there were a few basics which I appreciated: Nescafe or equivalent, salt (in a big box), pepper, regular cooking oil, soy sauce...

OK with kitchenware, a bit limited (e.g., no plastic spatula to not scratch the frying pan); would benefit from a few minor add-ons, e.g., more utensils, coffee machine. Also could do with a bit more decoration on the walls, e.g., pictures or posters of local mountains or waterways. The bed was OK, but gave me a back-ache.
