Bay Luxury Hotel & Spa - No 1 Ngo Huyen

The staff are amazing and willing to do extra miles for our comfort and give lots of recommendations. An, the staff, even found and arranged the Grab and everything for my friend's jumper that was left in the airport taxi. He is a champ. The hotel also has an elevator so no need to climb the stairs as our room is in level 6. From the room we can hear live music but thank God they concluded at 9 pm, so it's not disturbing our sleep. Premier location, just 3 minutes walk to the cathedral and 7 minutes to Hoan Kiem lake. A lot of cafes and foods around the hotel and money changer is just 4 buildings away.

The floor in our room was not very clean, it felt sticky and oily. However, the bathroom is very clean. Considering the location and weekend, the price is reasonable.

Good location. We didn’t mind, but if you like privacy while in the bathroom, this is probably not for you.

We arrive at 00hs after a long bus ride. The door of our room was open and full of mosquitoes. We didn’t have hot water to shower. The next morning I wanted to take a bath and still didn’t have any, I complained and they told me there was a light switch on the room for the hot water (witch it wasn’t labeled and they never told us) so I think they were expecting us to guess it. Right outside our room there was a couch with a guy sleeping in there and then talking loudly on the phone in speaker at 2:30 am. I think it was the receptionist. Plus there was no toilet paper in our room.
