It was a stunning setting. We enjoyed the fog rising each morning, and the birdlife above the lake too. Our one challenge was the number of stairs to get all our gear to the cabin. The owners need to make this clear or suggest in summer months to use a boat to get gear to the cabin. One suggestion.

Beautiful new, well-appointed house! Mike and Sean are perfect hosts! The house seams to be built from the finest materials with attention to smallest detail.Kitchen is beautiful and very well stocked. The cookware is high quality. It was pleasant surprise to find oil, solt and pepper, as well as coffe ready! The vew is spectacular, so prepering dinner is a very satisfying experiense. You could also watch the TV as you cook if it's dark outside.The bed is very comfortable, and the bedding is great.The only draw back is no laundry, and considering the many steps between the car and the house one must pack light and smart. I was there in November, so could not swim, but I can imaging how beautiful it would be in the summer!I am definitely coming back!

Beautiful house. Just a dive away from the lake. Well thought out floor plan. Beds were comfortable. Clean and up to date. Blue Lakes is the perfect get away.
