We and another family stayed over Labor Day weekend - 10 people in total and we all fit comfortably. The house is beautiful, clean and well stocked. The location right on Clear Lake is spectacular, with fantastic sunrises and sunsets. Only minor nitpick - the house has a dock but no kayak's or paddleboards etc. We chatted with the owner and they indicated that were in the process of replacing them. Also, despite it's name, Clear Lake is not that clear (obviously not the owner's fault!). We had hoped that we could do some swimming directly from the dock, but the water quality put us off. Overall though, fantastic house and spectacular location - highly recommended! Steve

My family and I wanted to find a perfect house for our get together and found this place. This isn't just a house it's a home and we loved everything about it. Very roomy and fit all of us nicely. The beds were very comfortable and bigger than they look in the pictures. We caught many fish off of the private pier and the row boat was fun to use. We're already wanting to book another trip to come back, we loved it that much! Thank you again Laura!

We enjoyed a long Thanksgiving weekend at this large and comfortable home. We especially enjoyed the spectacular lake view.

Family stayed here for daughters wedding, it was beautiful, clean, and spacious. Very homey.

The house is exceptionally clean. The house is large, complimenting the needs of our large family.

Laura and Stephen have been excellent hosts for many years. The property is constantly improving: carpets, outdoor tables, and furniture have been updated. This large house comfortably fits two multi-generational families. The old folks enjoy the deck and kayaking while the kids go waterskiing and wakeboarding from the dock.

The house is in excellent condition. The view of the lake is spectacular.

My whole family loved our long weekend at the house. Tons of space and games and an amazing view of the lake. We are going to come back every year for sure.

Everyone in our party were delighted with the house. We really enjoyed being able to use the private dock to access our boats and kayaks. As three adult couples it was very nice each having our own bathroom. Kitchen stalked nicely with everything you need to cook. The patio was beautiful with a fantastic view! The house was presented well in the ad and worked great for our needs. The 5 beds and 3 baths were perfect for splitting families into their own space. There was a dock to tie to that suited our needs but the boat lift was not available.

Lake view property, east facing with a wall of windows. We had 5 kids and 7 adults. One couple had to sleep in bunk beds. Kitchen stocked well with, but few empty cupboards for all the food we brought to feed 12 for 4 days. Paddleboarding was popular among our party and everyone enjoyed being able to leave and return directly to our rental.

This is an excellent property for two families with kids. We've been coming here for 9 years with college friends and their kids, now all adults. Every year there are some improvements: new ovens, new dishwasher, and the noisy sliding glass door got fixed.

It was a very comfortable home. Had everything we needed and completely accommodating to small children and babies! Laura was responsive, helpful and very nice. We will book this home again! Thank you!

Great house/layout with all the amenities you need. We brought stand up paddle boards and rented a boat locally and had the best time on the water and at this house.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again in the future. The house was comfortable and spacious with lots of things to do.

The microwave did not work..called owner to no avail. The carpets are dirty The house is nice but needs a good cleaning or, better yet,painting. Mattresses ,except for master bedroom need replacing. Sons and Grandsons are over 6 feet...beds have foot boards!!

Spacious house for the extended family to spend time together at the lake. Our second time here and I'm sure we will return.

Nothing in the kitchen to light burners. Unable to use range. Coffee provided, no coffee filters. Broken Keurig coffee maker. Broken upper oven. Downstairs floors filthy. Had to eat out since couldn't use range. Really disappointed.

This property is a true gem. Our party of 3 families has gotten together annually for the past decade in different locations and this one is top of the list for us. We took advantage of the kayaks and boat, fishing off the dock, the hot tub, and the kids loved the arcade game and foosball table. We brought wood for the chiminea but it was not there. Still had plenty to do and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Clean and comfortable and a great layout for groups. The wildlife watching and sunrises were magical.

This house is set up for a great vacation. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. An arcade for the kids to play. A great boat dock. Its where I will rent when I stay at clearlake.

Nice house on the water when NOT in a drought. Couldnt use kayaks or boat. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, great view, loved all of the wildlife, and the great room. Great place to enjoy friends with the large tv and music. Couldnt get fireplace to work or the host to call us back. Filthy carpet

This lake house was indeed "medicine for the soul". We came to Clearlake for a Celebration of Life for a family member at a venue in Lakeport. The house was in a good location- close to the venue and stores but also far enough away for peace and quiet and visiting with family we have not seen since before COVID. The location is everything. Beautiful sunrises, wonderful waterfowl, otters, minks and of course the lake itself. Even though the water level was low, there was no smell from the lake and my daughter even took the kayak out one afternoon. The kitchen had everything we needed and was well stocked with appliances and cookware, etc. There was even a helpful little map on the fridge to tell us where everything was located. There was plenty of living space with the upstairs and downstairs living rooms. The kids enjoyed the arcade games and puzzles. The bedrooms and bathrooms were nice with enough towels for everyone. There was also ample space on the deck and patio for visiting and viewing and the hot tub was nice to soak in at night. I had a couple of questions and Laura was quick to respond which was greatly appreciated. If I had to note one negative it would be that the carpets could use a good steam cleaning. This was not a problem for us, just something we noticed. Overall, we loved staying here and would definitely book again if in the area. I would highly recommend this perfect house on the lake.

Medicine for the soul is a great house for multiple family get togethers. Space for the adults and kids to play separately or together, 2 master bedrooms big kitchen and bar, and a great view from the deck.

The property is exactly as described. Lakefront with 180 degree views of the lake. Fabulous! Are two trips into Napa for wine tasting and spent the rest of the time on the huge deck. Spotted deer and tons of birds, and a family of otters live in the grass at the edge of the property. I have to be fair and say the place was a bit dirty with stained carpets and cobwebs in corners. The coffee maker didn't work, the arcade games didn't work and there was no propane tank for the grill so I had to fry our steaks. Other than those negatives, the place was amazing and perfect for us. We would absolutely stay here again.

It is a well laid out home. There was plenty of hang out space. We enjoyed ourselves and will rent this home again.

Everything about the house was great. It was clean. The only downfall is trash bags and napkins. The house accommodates up to 14 and yet only 2 trash bags and 1 roll of paper towel was provided.

Had everything we needed. Great location on the lake for fishing. Spacious home. Enjoyed the jacuzzi and the video games. We would stay here again.

Ou stay was great. We can’t wait to go back.
