The Space:

🔸Your reservation includes the BIG private cabin ONLY, w/ shared outdoor space with the big cabin rental on the 6 acre property



🔹The "big" cabin is 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, and 900 sq/ft. The main level has a queen bedroom w/ extra queen tri-fold mattress, one bathroom, and common areas such as living, dining, and kitchen. The loft is the 2nd bedroom with a King bed. Steps are involved entering the cabin, as well as to the loft.



🔸Please know this property has two cabins, about 30 yards apart. The driveway into the property is shared for both cabins, but each cabin has its own private parking. The interior of the big cabin, the charcoal grill, the attached deck of the big cabin, and fire pit behind the big cabin is 100% private to the big cabin renter. However, all other exterior amenities such as the sauna, yard games, fire pit by the water, kayaks and more, are shared with the big cabin renter.



🔴 PROPERTY SUMMARY 🔴



🔹This cabin sits elevated and offset from the water about 60 yards, so your view from the cabin's are overlooking the water, bluffs and driftless region.



🔸Our 6 acre property sits on the Bad Axe River, also known as a "Class 1" trout stream. The spacious layout of amenities is ideal for families, groups, fishermen, outdoorsman, adventure seekers, or homebodies in need of a getaway



🔹A short one minute walk from the cabin to the river will give you access to swim, fish, and launch the kayaks or tubes. We do not offer transportation back to the property, but there is a public pick up point 2 miles down the river for kayaker's or tubers to get out of the water safely to drive back to the property.



🔸Along the river we have 215 feet of frontage to fish, take a dip, play fetch with the dog, or just sit in peace as the water flows downstream. In the large grassy area, we have an 8 seat fire pit, and other seating area to soak in the sights and sounds of nature.



🔹In the large grassy area, we have a 3 hole disc golf "course", a football, soccer ball, can jam, corn hole, and ball toss.



🔸Headed back to the cabins, you'll find a hang out area on the back side of the big cabin where you can relax in our 6 person sauna. Be aware the sauna can take up to 40 min to get to 170-185 °F depending on the time of year.



🔹Next to the sauna is a private fire pit area with string lights. This is also a flat area, ideal for corn hole.



🔸Inside the big cabin, the kitchen is fully stocked for your cooking needs



🔹Families will have access to a pack n play, high chair and kids dinnerware



🔸The big big cabin has breakfast bar seating with 2 barstools, and a dining table steps away that comfortably sits 6. This is the perfect area for groups or families to enjoy a meal or play a board game.



🔹After brewing your complimentary coffee or heating some tea, you can step outside onto the deck overlooking the bluffs and water.



🔸Make yourself at home with our washer and dryer located in the basement of the big cabin - detergent is free

The Neighborhood:

This is a rural property with one neighboring property about 75 yards away. It's quiet, peaceful, and a true "getaway" from every day noise.



Getting Around:

Vehicle for for anything off site, otherwise there are various hiking trails a short drive away

🔸THIS IS THE BIG CABIN ONLY WITH SOME SHARED EXTERIOR AMENITIES. The interior and deck of the cabin is private, but all exterior amenities are shared with the small cabin.
