About this villa rental
About 12 km from Syracuse there is the small town of Floridia, located at 109 m over sea level. Floridia was founded in 1628 and has today a population of about 20.000 resident. A blooming and peaceful countryside surrounds the town, allowing a relaxing holiday in a Mediterranean landscape. For all them who still are looking for the waves of the seaside, will find the sandy beach of Fontane Bianche and beautiful rocky beaches at less than 20 km from Floridia.
Distances from Villa Giugio’: all facilities, bars about 3 km, bus stop about 4 km, restaurant/pizzeria about 6 km, newspaper kiosk ca. 6 km. Penny Market at 7 km. A mall (open from Monday to Sunday) and Lidl are in Syracuse.
This child- and family-friendly detached villa with a private pool is located within a private property of approximately 1.200 square meters, surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation and olive trees. Floridia, with all its shopping and dining options, is just 3 km from the house.
The variety of outdoor recreational opportunities allow for a variety of activities with the family at any time of day.
From the living room, you can directly access the beautiful, large, and comfortable veranda, which features a large dining table with comfortable seating. An outdoor barbecue is available for guests' use adjacent to the veranda. The picture almost creates itself. The veranda is the perfect place to enjoy a leisurely breakfast or carefree barbecue evenings in the mild Mediterranean evening air.
As already mentioned, the terrace with its breakfast table and porch swing is perfect for dozing in the shade or reading a book. At the front of the house, there is a basketball hoop to try out shots.
The real added value of the property, however, is certainly the cooling blue water of the private pool with pool lighting (open in the period 01.04. - 31.10. Measurements: 10x5mt, 1.40mt deep). Surrounded by a lawn and patio with a parasol, sun loungers, and a small gazebo, you can also enjoy summer night swimming here. There is also an outdoor bathroom which provides wash basin / shower / WC.
Convenient parking is available within the property adjacent to the fenced property. A rental car is required for the duration of your stay.

The entrance door leads to a bright and open-plan living room divided into two areas. The first area features a seating area with upholstered furniture and a flat-screen satellite TV. In the second section of the living room, the open fireplace provides a cozy dining area with a dining table and seating.
The living room is the focal point of the house. From here, you reach the eat-in kitchen with a kitchenette featuring four gas rings, an electric oven, a dishwasher, a microwave, a toaster, and a dining table. The large glass window in the kitchen not only brings light into the room but also conveniently leads directly to the terrace with a breakfast table and parasol, where you can enjoy a coffee and a view of the pool.
The living room leads to the other rooms of the house: one bedroom with a double bed and air conditioning, and two bedrooms with two single beds each, each with air conditioning. A bathroom with a shower/WC/bidet. The living room also has a staircase leading to the first floor, which is unoccupied and not accessible.
