About this house rental
Welcome to our family’s home-away-from-everything. We built this place as a retreat—one that balances beauty and function, calm and play, space and connection. It’s where we go to slow down, hear the wind in the pines, and remember what matters. We’re thrilled to open it up and let others experience the magic of Estes Park from this exact spot.
From the deck, you can see the Beaver Meadows Visitor Center and—if you're lucky—elk, deer, or even the occasional fox passing through the yard. These sightings happen almost daily. Mornings here start with coffee and birdsong. Evenings end with laughter on the deck, grilled dinners, or stargazing in the crisp mountain air.
Inside, the home is anything but your typical mountain rental.
We skipped the log cabin clichés and leaned into clean lines and thoughtful design—drawing inspiration from Japanese simplicity and Scandinavian warmth. Hygge if you will. :)
The space is open, airy, and full of natural light.
Windows everywhere.
Breezeways you’ll want to walk through barefoot.
A sense of ease built into every room.

*Built for Families*
We’re a family of five, and we designed this space with kids in mind—from our own experience traveling.
There’s a large playroom in the basement that once had a climbing wall, tunnels, and a ball pit (note: the climbing wall will be removed, and the walls repainted to a neutral tone—updated photos coming soon).
Outside, there’s a fenced-in yard for dogs and kids to roam freely, and a playset under the trees where our girls have spent hours.

*Dog-Friendly*
We welcome well-behaved pups.
The fenced backyard makes things easy, and there are plenty of trails nearby for walk-and-sniff adventures.
