We enjoyed our two day stay at the chalet for a family reunion with 8 people. Some positive points to raise:
- the owner Mario was very friendly and responded to any questions and requests we had quickly. He was also flexible in scheduling our departure time on the Sunday which was much appreciated
- the chalet is spacious and could easily host our two families. There is plenty lawn space around the chalet for the children to play. Also nice to know during hot days you have air-conditioning to retreat to.
- the main living room as a beautiful view across Moonlight lake through a huge window. Also the living room is well stocked with board games etc...
- Mario has prepared a useful booklet with ideas for activities and sigh-seeing. We enjoyed going for ice cream in Huntingdon.
- The area is quiet and the surroundings interesting to visit allowing for relaxing days away from work
- We made an epic and enjoyable tour of the lake using all 5 kayaks available at the property and explored the stream at the end of the lake. Lifejackets were supplied.
- Bedrooms and the bathroom were clean with plenty blankets.
There are some things that we think could be improved...even sometimes it's a question of managing expectations. Those of you expecting a pristine and clinically clean modern cottage and/or rocky shores and a deep blue lake to swim in will likely be disappointed. The lake is a bit weedy and the cottage is somewhat older and rustic, and to be fair some of the kitchen equipment such as the toaster has seen better days and could do with a refresh. The garage and surrounding area could do with a bit of a tidy-up. It did not bother us but good to know if you are counting on this.

Localisation impeccable près de Huntingdon, le long d'un étang. Parfait pour un séjour en groupe ou une activité de cohésion pour le bureau! Climatisation appréciée.
La literie et les équipements pourraient être améliorés. Les chambres se comptent comme suit : 1 chambre avec lit double, 1 chambre avec un double et un matelas simple, une chambre avec deux doubles, 1 salon avec sofa-lit, et une mezzanine avec matelas et sofas-lits.

Gorgeous view from the spacious living room. Can set up bonfire outside. Many rooms available if you have larger groups of guests. Fully equipped kitchen. Host was friendly and accommodated early check in and late check out.
The bbq was not installed yet so we would have to install it ourselves if we wanted to use it. Kayaks and paddle boat were tugged deep inside the garage and it was hard for us to move it outside of house to use so we didn’t use it. Host was friendly so I’m sure if you request ahead of time for the above items to be prepared and arranged, it can be done :)
