Adirondack Lodge Old Forge

I loved the look of this place and the rooms were beautiful. There was wood furnishings in the room which gave it a rustic feel. The room was an open concept so that was also a nice feature!

There was not enough lighting in the room. I loved that there was an option to open the curtain and a big window but our vehicle was all you could really see if you opened it. Personal preference though not on them at all. :)

Location was great,rooms were clean, pool was warm,grill outside was a huge bonus.

I didn’t like that one of the ladies at the front desk was super rude not only to me but to small children she acted like the microwave that was for all to use was hers and nobody was allowed to use it. I also did not like that every time we asked for pool towels we got an attitude or was not given any. I also didn’t like that all of the staff would sit outside smoking weed every morning yes it’s legal but small children including a newborn should not have to smell that.Also did not like that we had to change our checkout date but was told we would not be refunded.

Website said pool closes at 10 but it closed at 9. The poll was supposed to open at 9 but didn’t open until 915

Staff was great, and the location is perfect. Pool was very nice.

Rooms are worn down. I know you're in the boonies but wifi was nonexistent. Wallpaper was peeling and the door was hard to close and lock. No tub just a stand up shower and the ac unit worked when it wanted to.
