Maison située dans un endroit idéal, dans un joli quartier très près du centre. Les espaces sont plutôt petits mais cela donne un aspect très cosy au lieu. Le jardin à l’arrière doit être très agréable l’été.

L’escalier est étroit et monter des valises n’est pas chose facile surtout quand on est âgé mais nous sommes bien prévenus.

Heating in livingroom did not work. Only in the Dinning room. Kitchen did not have heating at all. But we managed well!!

The location was the driver for selecting this property. We were two blocks from a larger grocery store and four blocks from the city center. The kitchen was nicely equipped with a larger refrigerator, microwave, toaster, washer and dryer. Since we had just a few dishes for breakfast, we washed dishes by hand and did not use the dishwasher. We did not use the oven or stovetop. The layout of the home was quirky. One bedroom was in the front (street side). The guests had to walk down the hallway to access the bathroom. You walk through the living area to access the dining room. Upstairs had two bedrooms, one with an ensuite bathroom. Shower stall was quite small but it had an instant water heater and good water pressure. Plumbing made noise when the sink or toilet was used. The second bathroom upstairs was next door to the second bedroom. It did not have an instant water heater. At one point, the guests had used the hot water and had to wait for the water to warm again. A third bedroom with a single bed was upstairs as well.

The bedrooms needed blackout curtains or shades instead of mini blinds or lighter curtains. The mattresses were older. Bedding had been well used.
