Les Appartements de la rue Vial

We had the top floor 2 bedroom apartment with terrace and loved the central location (nearby lots of shops, restaurants and bus stop, including the ‘petit train’), wonderful AC and outdoor terrace space. Local tip - our tween/teen enjoyed the free mobile phone tourist / scavenger trails from the tourist information office / online.

Adequate space but a bit tight in kitchen/lounge; e.g. no cupboard space for food and 4 people can’t sit together on the sofa. The bed in the second bedroom is broken underneath and propped up with a block and bungee cord - our kids constantly rolled into the middle which caused an issue! Also the bathroom door doesn’t shut unless you lock it. The electric grill outside is faulty and just shorts the electrics - note the fuse board is in the alcove by door if you need it. Also, can’t understand why in the land of bread and cheese but only 1 knife and no bread knife so could do with some more. A few more unbroken pegs for washing/drying would be good too.

Ground foor but not a big deal

Wenn man es bis zur Unterkunft geschafft hat, ist man direkt im Zentrum.

Niemand informierte uns, dass man nicht mit dem Auto zum Ausladen vorfahren kann (Altstadtbereich, der mit Pollern abgesichert ist.) Damit durften wir unser Gepäck ca. 800 m durch die Stadt tragen. Der Hausflur ist vollgestellt mit Haushaltsgeräten und wenig einladend. Das Zimmer war okay, nachdem wir einen völlig unnützen Raumteiler weggeräumt und die Couch umgestellt hatten, damit man auch an den Schrank kam. (Tür öffnet falsch herum)
