Locality convenient & cost ok

Host hospitality skills are lacking, needs to be improved: After I got confirmed booking host asked me if I could book somewhere else to save him coming in! There were no instructions as to keys and entry on confirmation. I had to make numerous unsuccessful communications attempts. Difficulty in getting through to host. The place was just messy, needed a simple tidy up. Place was dirty but the other shared guests had by their word done a big clean up at their expense and time. And they had tried to get rid of the smells. Dish washer full of dirty dishes. The room was an internal room with no ventilation so could prove to be a problem, I was lucky the other shared guests allowed me to leave internal door open The other guests were not told on their booking details that they were sharing the facility with me, luckily we got along well. Disappointing for them ! And they found 2 other shared parties on their earlier day of arrival, because of what they found I understood they rebooked into another hotel . So in all just bad management when it would be so easy to rectify to a degree of transparency and cleanliness
