Not worth it.

Didnt realise the house actually has family living in it. Asked for a refund didnt even get that even though i paid a week in advance i didnt even stay there.

Terrible

Actually we have been cancelled the booking by the property without any notice! When we arrived, the lady said she thought we cancelled this booking and she let other customers checked in!(yes, we asked her if we can cancel the booking due to work, but she hasn’t reply us, then I have to reschedule my trip again in case I don’t miss this booking) Apparently she earned two different customers during my booking stay period. And she seems very sorry about this but she still hasn’t confirmed the refund email with booking team!

Fine for a sleep. But more suited to a solo traveller who doesn’t need the cleanliness the photos suggested we would get

Staff/host was lovely and accommodating to our last minute need for an extra guest

It was absolutely filthy. Particularly the shower. There was no sitting room area and as another guest was at the kitchen table we made our own space on the deck. Using one room as a lounge would make an okay stay much better. Also the out door light went on and off continuously until very late at night. Possibly due to hosts family using the door it was by.

The bed was comfortable and the price was cheap, but that’s about it. I really wish I had read the reviews before making the booking.

The advertisement did not mention that this is a shared house. The shower was dirty, with a lot of pink mold, and some of the cutlery was rusted. It felt more like staying in a dormitory than a homestay. Although they claim to have off-road parking, we were not allowed to use it and were asked to park on the street instead. The towels were also very worn out — rough and unable to dry the body properly

Large room and free parking. Close to amenities. Towels in the room. Wifi was good.

Staff didn't seem to know I was coming. Didn't get the front door code until late. Not sure they had changed the bedsheets. Room was incredibly hot, although the fan helped a bit. The automatic outdoor floodlight kept coming on which was very visible through the thin curtains. Just a bit of a strange vibe.

We left after staying there 1 hour and stayed at another hotel. We felt very uncomfortable here and would not recommend.

The property was a shared unit with multiple permanent residents living there which was not clear when I booked and I was unaware. The shared kitchen space was full of the residents food with no space to put our things in the fridge. The beds looked like they had been slept in and found bits of rubbish under the quilt. There was a lack of communication, I had to ask about checkin a couple hours before arrival as they never communicated since I booked.

Cheap but should be clean

Convenient close to the city.

It wasn't very neat. Sheets have not been changed and shared bathroom toilet was dirty with shampoo and all sorts of bottles all over the place. Smoke alarm in room not connected. Dirty towels all over the bathroom. We paid cheap so possibly could not expect much but really not clean at all. Photos are very deceiving.

I’ve been there before but this time was a disaster. They left a vacuum over my bed with dirty and used towels from another guests. The toilet was full of mold and disgusting walls and ceiling. Gross.

Very affordable and good communication although we never saw the owners. Key to room, wifi, 2 toulets and 1 shower.. It is ok for a night in auckland..

House shared with a permanent that rents a room. He kept to himself. Rubbish was over flowing and fridge full of mayby science projects? Bathroom ok, Kitchen clean. .

Good price for a short stay.

The property was visibly a bit worn-out, but fine to stay for a couple of nights. All clean, the bathroom is shared so I didn’t expect much. Good price and location though. We didn’t use the shared kitchen much, by the look of it it was full of appliances and well organised.

It looks like something was wrong with the system itself, we booked it a week in advance, but when we arrived the host mentioned by phone that they need to check if the room is ready for us. So we had to wait for some time before checking in, which was fine for us because we had a car.
