Friendly hosts, very affordable low price cosy room, electric blankets for cold weather.

Very strong smell in the house, likely after cooking fish, that lingered for more than a day. Shared bathroom that is at the other end of corridor. No place to dry the towel. Only one thin towel provided. Thin walls. Could hear owners talk and take a shower very late at night past 11pm. Light sleepers will be affected.

Huone on siisti ja valoisa. Yksi iso pyyhe. Tähän asti Aucklandin paras suihku. Vedenpaine erinomainen, kuuma vesi ja lämpö pysyy tasaisena. Patja hyvä, petivaatteet puhtaat. Pyydettäessä sai ylimääräisen peiton. Käytettävissä olevan (jaetun) keittiön varustelu ok. Sijainti hyvä, vain jos olet autolla. The room is clean and bright. One large towel. The best shower in Auckland so far. Excellent water pressure, hot water and constant temperature. Mattress good, bed linen clean. Got an extra blanket when asked. The (shared) kitchen available was well equipped. Location good, only if you have a car.

Viesteihin vastattiin vasta edellisenä iltana ennen majoitusta. Tätä ennen olin laittanut usean viestin. Kommunikoinnissa haastetta. Jäi epävarmuus onko majoitusta ollenkaan. Sijainti vaatii auton. Piha haastava jos et ole tottunut kuljettaja. Pihaan mahtuu 1 auto, todella kapea jyrkkä ylä/alamäki (vähän tilaa kääntää auto). Omistaja käy sammuttelemassa valoja ja on yihuolehtivainen tulee tunkeileva olo, että on toisen kotona (kuten onkin). WCssä ei ole lainkaan käsipyyhkeitä ja haisee järkyttävälle. Kylpyammetta ei saa käyttää. Suihkuaikaa rajoitetaan 7min. Ainoastaan yksi wc ja suihku, jota myös omistaja perhe käyttää. Huone ahdas ei mahdu avaamaan matkalaukkuja. Eikä tähän ole käytävälläkään tilaa. Huoneen verhot olisi hyvä olla pimentävät. Huoneessa vain kattovalo. Ainoastaan pieni tuuletin. Jaettu majoitus, toinen vierashuone ja omistajat samassa. Edelliset arviot anoivat odottaa paljon parempaa - pettymys. Messages were only answered the night before the accommodation. Before this I had sent several messages. Communication was a challenge. There was uncertainty about whether there was accommodation at all. The location requires a car. The yard is challenging if you are not an experienced driver. The yard can accommodate 1 car, a really narrow steep up/downhill slope (little room to turn the car). The owner goes to turn off the lights and is so intrusive that it feels intrusive that you are in someone else's home (as it is). There are no hand towels in the toilet and it smells shocking. The bathtub is not allowed to be used. Shower time is limited to 7 minutes. only one toilet and shower, which is also used by the owner's family. The room is cramped, there is no room to open suitcases. And there is no room for this in the hallway either. The curtains in the room should be blackout. Only a ceiling light in the room. Only small fun. Shared accommodation, another guest room and the owners in the same room.
