    This was my first time booking Golden Sun 5 Hotel for a colleague, and we were very impressed. The hotel is exceptionally clean, has a beautiful interior, and the staff provided excellent service throughout the stay.

    So where to start… Before to go there we searched only to check price and when we arrived they told me 1.5tr but on Agoda it was 1.4tr so they told me they can do same price as Agoda, I didn’t tried to negotiate much more because the staff was really nice and welcoming, but then they told me it’s 4% more when you don’t pay by cash, what is ILLEGAL in Vietnam, the owner is a cop so he should know that… I wounded how a cop can by himself a big hotel like that btw, but probably to fight corruption the government is paying really well the cops so they won’t get bribes, but they still do illegal stuff in hotel…. So the staff called the owner who confirmed it will be more expansive if we don’t pay by cash with no receipt. So then the “apartment” have a fridge that stop when we leave the room, there is nothing in the “kitchen”. Otherwise the hotel is quite clean, the rooms are clean and the staff was really nice and professional. So ban this place if you don’t want to be scammed by the owner….. At the end we tried again on Agoda and Magically I got 1.2tr with payment by card and no charges for that…
