Very quiet location. Loved the various outdoor seating possibilities. The extra bed in the living room is probably more a emergency bed and best used for a child. The bathroom was large enough and we liked the soft towels. This is very close to the main bus line into the city (#608) and in easy walking distance to the university. Various supermarkets, bakeries etc are in easy walking distance.

Unfortunately getting oven, WIFI and hot water to work was tricky and required various emails to the rental company. There is a new internet password which can be found on the router in the bedroom (different one from the one sent via email). Oven and hot water tank needed the breaker switch to be turned on, NOT only the gray button as incorrectly labeled on the breaker box ( we relabeled for future guests ease). There is only one proper large fork with the cutlery. The rental company was not willing to provide the missing three forks. But they offered 20% off if we would stay longer and also % off future visits if we would give excellent rating....?

The accommodation was comfortable, affordable for everything it offers. Very clean place, with many amenities, enough storage space especially in the bedroom for your personal belongings, kind people around and on the phone where I communicated about the time we would be there, so that it would be ready and clean and the host. If you are from the airport there is no worry as they can also help you with a taxi. The place is located in a place where the sun hits the windows and lights up quite a bit. You can find several supermarkets around, as well as a kiosk and a bakery in a very short distance. If you don't mind the distance, you can find many shops for food and other things within a 20-25 minute walk, not that there aren't any closer.

There was nothing unpleasant, I would just recommend a kitchen towel because it is difficult to dry all the kitchen items that you will use if you cook. And preferably 10 minutes more if you talk to the host so that there is more hot water as it takes a little longer, especially if it is used for the jacuzzi.

Το μόνο ελάττωμα στο δωμάτιο ήταν ότι για το τζακούζι δεν είχε νερό και έπρεπε να ανοίξω τρεις φορές τον θερμοσίφωνα να γεμίσει και πάλι ήταν χλιαρό το νερό.

The location was good for our conference. The air conditioner worked well. There was a reasonable amount of space for 2 people.

When we checked in at 3pm, after waiting an hour on site, the apartment was dirty. Dirty sheets and towels, hair all over the floor, trash in all the trash cans. (We took pictures to document as well). We tried calling the hosts several and got no answer. We messaged them and heard that there had been a delay in getting the space cleaned (though no one had been courteous enough to contact us). The apartment is on the side of a HUGE hill in a residential area, so there wasn't any place to go while waiting for the cleaner. She arrived at 3:30 and so we were able to leave our bags and try to find some food after 15 hours of traveling. The apartment was reasonably clean when we finally got in, though it still had lots of long hair all over the floor, no additional trash bags, and only 1 extra roll of toilet paper. The last thing you need to worry about during a conference is a trip to the store to buy toilet paper and trash bags. Also, there were no instructions for the apartment like where to put trash, how to use a washing machine with all the settings in Greek, etc.. The hosts sent us incorrect wifi name information and we only got acc because my husband was able to figure it out by chekcing the router. No instructions for the jacuzzi either (which we didn't wind up using because it didn't look particularly clean). When we contacted the managers, they suggested WE should call the housekeeping staff, but since we don't speak Greek, that seemed like a waste of time. To make up for the dirty apartment, they offered us a late check-out time. Not particularly useful, since we had to leave for the airport at 8am. Also, we kept getting sent offers for discounts on future stays if we provided a perfect review. While the place was fine for what we needed, we didn't feel welcomed into the space with any handbooks about how to use appliances, local recommendations for where to get groceries, etc.
