Modern Apartment in Zografou, Athens

The apartment is very clean, spacious, and filled with balconies on both sides. It is located in a building on a quiet street in Zografou. The bedding of excellent quality. The location is perfect: away from the crowds of tourists in the city centre, while still being close to all the main sights. Syntagma Square is just a 10-minute bus ride away. The neighbourhood itself is safe, very pleasant and lively, with plenty of shops, supermarkets, cafés, and restaurants. The host is very responsive and always quick to answer any questions.

The only thing I missed was having some instructions for using the TV, fans and air conditioning. It would also have been a nice touch to have a few leaflets or recommendations about things to see and do in the neighbourhood, such as local markets.

Wir haben 6 Wochen in der Wohnung verbracht. Lage war für uns sehr gut (mit dem Bus 608 sehr schnell ins Zentrum oder zum Metro), in der Nähe die Möglichkeit einzukaufen oder zu essen. Schlüsselübergabe war problemlos. Sofia, unsere Gastgeberin, hat an allen Details gedacht. Wir haben Lebensmittel, Früchte, Wasser, Kaffee und Zucker und vieles mehr in der Küche gefunden. Auch Toilettenartikel, Waschmittel, Putzmitteln, Haartrockner, Bügeleisen und vieles mehr waren vorhanden. Ebenfalls eine Waschmaschine, wir waren sehr froh darüber. Wohnung war sehr ruhig und im Schatten. Für Fragen und Hilfe war Sofia sehr schnell erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefüllt und würden die gleiche Wohnung nochmals buchen. Dusche war ausgezeichnet. Wi-Fi funktionierte tadellos.

1. Der Kleiderschrank sollte frei sein und der Inhalt (Leiter, Bügelbrett, Staubsauger, Ventilator) eventuell auf dem hinteren Balkon in einer regensicheren Kiste deponiert werden 2. Ich würde auch auf die vielen Dekorationssachen (kleine Teppiche, Plastikblumen) verzichten. 3. Für diejenige die länger dort wohnen muss es klar sein, dass sie selber putzen müssen (es ist aber alles vorhanden). Oder man bekommt gegen Kost eine Putzfrau.

There are a lot of personal touches in this large, well located apartment! Coffee and creamer and even q tips and sunscreen! It made our stay extremely comfortable! Also loved the large deck and lovely neighborhood!
